The popular DNT Flagship show, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly (GBU) Talk Show is getting a new addition. The show’s staple Nana Konadu Agyeman along with Marijoe Garcia Afrifa will be joined by Loritta Dede Amegashie, a businesswoman with knowledge about virtual and international markets. Christina Aurthur, who doubles as the Social Media Coordinator for DNT, will sit in from time to time.
A one-hour show, the GBU airs every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8pm on diaspora Network Television and repeats on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 12:30pm. The show has gained enormous popularity due to its unpredictability.
for every episode, three women ballot to determine who plays Good, Bad, or Ugly. Then they take on three of the day’s top headline stories and dissect them analytically with the Good delivering a positive spin on the story, the Bad hosting and moderating, and the Ugly doing ugly justice to whatever the story is about.
But just as you start to assume that one character is pro NPP or pro NDC, she may surprise you next by taking on a vastly opposing position depending on her draw for that day, and what the story says.
Then before each episode ends, the Girl Talk topic, which can be anything like “are women indeed more emotional than men?” or “should I tell my mother about my Father’s mistress?” And that’s when the phone lines explodes with viewer call-ins.
