Former footballer and incumbent president of the Cameroonian football federation Samuel Eto’o denied some staff at the headquarters access to the office for reporting late to work. Eto’o who recently ventured into football politics and won the just ended election arrived at the office at around 07:30am, and got the office locked 30 minutes after.
After locking the office, the federation the ex-Cameroonian international took time to tour the various office to take record of staff present, and asked all late comers to return to their respective homes.
I was elected to work with people who are punctual and on time to work, at me it is the rigor and the seriousness in the work, Samuel Eto’o noted.
He added that, before when you arrive at the headquarters of the federation you find the offices empty because some people have already left for home, and others arrive at the time they want, and it will not be like that now.
