Obi was speaking at a world press conference held in Abuja
According to him , his mandate was stolen and he will do everything legitimately possible to reclaim his mandate
He called on his followers to exercise some patience and restraints and urging them not to resort to violence
He pledge to challenge what he called this rascality in court.
Obi is the only candidate to secure the minimum 25% of the total votes (61%) in the Federal Capital Territory of Abuja as required by the Nigerian Constitution.
Furthermore, Obi secured the minimum 25% of the votes in 19 states – six short of the constitutionally required 25. But rumor was ripe through social media, some backed by evidence that his numbers were severely reduced in several states, rectification of which would not only potentially give him the most overall votes but also in at least six more states.
